Ares is the Greek god of war. He is the son of the supreme god Zeus and his wife Hera. Ares was disliked by his father from the moment he was born. Ares was known as a god of courage, the savior of cities, and father of victory.The love goddess Aphrodite was Ares’ lover. Their children accompanied him, and helped explain why Ares’ variety of warfare earned so much hatred.
Ares had no special but to start wars.He had foreign powers only when he was battling so that he could be someone else that people worshipped and view as a heroic person.He was cruel uncaring.He is a charming god one minute, able to seduce you and then stab you in the back the next minute.
